    Am cumparat masina in 2007 din Germania, de la vanzator particular, un Rover 416Si berlina, an fabricatie 1999, avand la bord 101000km.Am detinut masina pana in anul 2010, cand am vandut unui prieten foarte bun, care la prima intalnire cu masina s-a indragostit de el. Avea de ce: motorul din seria K, motor Honda imbunatatit de nemti de la BMW, cu 103 cai, injectie multipunct si un cuplu la 2500 RPM ca la masinile Diesel, facea minuni. Consumul cel mai bun pe drum lug la 120km/h era de 4.8%, in oras iarna era de 8.5%.
    Niciodata in afara de consumabile nu am avut probleme cu el, numai piese de caroserie sa n u fii nevoit sa cumperi. Dotari nu mi zic: full, oglinzi incalzite, piele crem cu verde, scaune incalzite automat, Abs, servo, alarma si inchidere centralizata din fabrica, chiar si paravantul era din fabrica.
    Zic ca a meritat fiecare banut cheltuit pe el, fiind ideala pentru masina de familie, foarte spatios si confortabil.

    Spy Shots: new photos of the MG5 4-door Coupe

    New spy shots of a new variant of the MG5 clearly show a four-door coupe, and not a 2-door coupe or a fastback. The MG5 4-door coupe will debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April and will be launched on the China car market in the second half of next year. It is based on the same platform as the MG5 hatchback and the Roewe 350 sedan.





    MG5 hatchback was launched in March 2012. Price starts at 87.700 yuan and ends at 136.700 yuan. Engines: 109hp 1.5 and a 129hp 1.5 turbo. The MG5 4-door coupe will get the same engines.



    The Roewe 350 sedan was launched in April 2010. Price starts at 89.700 yuan and ends at 128.700 yuan. Lone engine is the 109hp 1.5 but the 1.5 turbo will soon become available in the 350 as well.



    Boot lid separated from rear window. Very sporty roof line. Rear lights stretching all the way to the middle.



    Interior the same as in MG5. Manual gearbox here.

    nu cred ca Rover va renaste vreodata in Europa unu la mana. doi la mana MG s-a lansat pe piata inca de anul trecut cu doua modele, varianta mica ( MG3 ) fiind una foarte accesibila si foarte trendy cu multe optiuni la interior si exterior. Sunt putini insa cei care mai cumpara astfel de masini

    ideea este ca "poporul chinez" are multi bani, si din cate am inteles, grupul SAIC poate cumpara la pachet, un grup auto european/american.

    si la cat de slabi sunt CEO-ii de la acele grupuri, parca vad ca in 2-3 ani se fac schimbari de trupe pe plan mondial.

    PSA are 2 marci, au schimbat luna asta seful ( au avut vreo 4-5 in ultimii 10 ani ) cu rezultate fff slabe, dar, au investit in proiectare si in 2014-2016, au niste proiecte fff bune, cu sanse mari de reusita. plus gama DS de la citroen, care prinde din ce in ce mai bine.

    Chevrolet pleaca din europa, sa faca loc lui opel - miscare slaba

    Sergio M de la FIAT-CHRYSLER, a cheltuit o groaza de bani sa cumpere 100% firma americana ( cu 6 marci in portofoliu ) , mai are 4 acasa, se fac 10. conduce grupul FIAT de 10 ani si mai inca 3. a avut mai multe planuri de salvare FIA si ALFA ROMEO, si vad ca LANCIA o lasa cu un singur model, urmatorii 2-3 ani, posibil sa inchida firma ( am citit comentarii pe site-uri starine in care fanii cer sa fie vanduta grupului VAG sau la chinezi )

    renault-nissan-dacia, spun ca vor iesi mai puternici dupa criza, au renascut marca DATSUN, dar, si-au batut joc de nissan, s-au axat pe suv-uri. si ce modele erau primera/almera...

    rover a disparut....... roewe arata foarte bie in china, de ce nu ar reaparea brandul in 2-3 ani, am inteles ca drepturile ROVER sunt pe la ford.

    land rover/range rover au planuri fff mari si le merge excelent cu TATA.

    HONDA-ACURA au planuri foarte mari perioada 2014-2020, si se pare ca le va iesi.

    BMW le merge bine, au 2-3 modele de baza din care au derivat inca 7-8.

    ford, kia, hyundai - acceptabil

    mitsubishi slabut , idem suzuki, dar au planuri de relansare.

    volvo arata fff puternic, cu banii chinezilor in spate.

    seat au planuri mari cu sanse de reusita, nu mai vorbim de skoda.

    daca VW se gandeste la un brand low-cost, e loc de multe surprize pe plan auto in urmatorii 2-3 ani. de ce nu ar reveni ROVER ?

    Roewe arata si se comporta excelent.
    Am vazut un test drive in Spania la un fel de "45", carea parea corcit cu un Citroen C4 (de altfel o masina cat se poate de buna).
    Unul dintre modele a luat premii pentru securitate - a se citi antiefractie. Daca nu ma insel, este vorba despre urmasul 75-ului.
    Au baietii si concepte, au si masini hibrid... cam tot ce le trebuie.
    Nu in ultimul rand, unele motoare sunt bazate tot pe K series...ceea ce pe mine ma incanta... este totusi un motor cu palmares.

    DAR, pana nu o sa vad reprezentantze pe batranul continent, e doar o poveste... frumoasa, dar... cum ziceam, just a fairy tale.

    New spy shots of the MG CS SUV, with the best view on the interior so far. On the first photo a high-end version with a large screen in the center console and keyless start. An electronic handbrake is standard on all versions. Dials very sporty because MG is sporty, no matter SUV.

    Enough space for the legs but seats are Chinese-short.

    The MG CS SUV will have its world wide debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April and it will be launched on the Chinese car market in the second half of this year. There will be two engines available for the Chinese market: a 1.5 turbo with 135hp and a new 2.0 turbo with 204hp, both mated to a 6-speed DCT.

    MG & Roewe working on New Engines in China

    MG and Roewe, both owned by the Shanghai Auto Industry Corporation (SAIC) are developing a range of the engines in partnership with General Motors, which has the Shanghai-GM joint venture with SAIC. The engines will be used in current and future Roewe and MG cars, and will also be used in future China-made Buicks and Chevrolets.

    The range includes a 1.0 turbo, a 1.2 turbo, a 1.4 turbo, and a 2.0 turbo. The first two engines will be used in the MG3 and in a future MG-branded mini car. The 1.4 turbo will be used in the MG5 and Roewe 350 and will eventually replace the current 1.5/1.5 turbo line-up.

    The 1.4 turbo and the 2.0 turbo will be used in the Roewe 550 and the MG6, replacing the current 1.9/1.8 turbo line-up. The 2.0 turbo will also be used in the Roewe 950 and will replace the current 2.4/3.0V6 line-up. The Roewe 950 is based on the Buick Lacrosse, indicating the next generation Lacrosse will get the same engines.

    Interestingly, the plans make no mention of new hybrid or electric power trains, indicating SAIC won’t launch anything green other than the half-experimental Roewe E50 EV.

    Spy Shots: MG CS SUV seen testing in Europe

    Spy Shots of the MG CS SUV, spied for the first time in Europe by WorldCarFans.com. The test in Europe indicates the MG CS SUV will be sold there, first of all in the U.K. but probably in other markets too. The MG CS SUV will have its world wide debut on the Beijing Auto Show in April and it will be launched on the Chinese car market in the second half of this year. Arrival in the U.K. is scheduled for 2015.

    The MG CS SUV debuted as a concept on the Shanghai Auto Show back in April. MG said at the time that the CS was based on the MG5, but we have seen spy shots spy shots of an MG SUV based on the current third-generation Ssangyong Korando.

    The latest reports in Chinese media seem to confirm the Ssangyong origins, saying the MG CS is based on the “Ssangyong Korando multi-platform”. They also say the wheelbase of the CS is 2650, which is exactly the same as the Korando’s.

    There will be two engines available for the Chinese market: a 1.5 turbo with 135hp and a new 2.0 turbo with 204hp. The 1.5 turbo is developed by MG, the 2.0 turbo however is likely based on the naturally aspirated 2.0 that powers the Korando. Price for the MG CS SUV in China will start around 140.000 yuan.

    Rear spoiler for sporty. Roof rack for outdoor. Tires seem on the small side. Not sure where the vehicle was seen but it looks like somewhere far up north in Scandinavia.
